The ECM Classika PID is a single boiler espresso machine that combines attention to details, superior workmanship and German engineering in a compact machine.  The PID temperature control also allows you to set the desired temperature for coffee extraction and steam and it also doubles as a shot timer while brewing.  Also included are the ergonomic and weight balanced angled portafilters with metal ends that ECM is known for.

Features:

• ECM patented E61 Group Head: The E61 brew head design has been around for over 50 years, but ECM significantly improved it in technology and design with their stainless steel mushroom.  The E61 group is known for its reliability and temperature stability due to heavy brass head combined with a thermosyphon system keeping the group head hot.  
• 0.75L Stainless Steel Boiler: The Classika PID uses an insulated 0.75L stainless steel boiler for both brewing and steaming. Expect warm up times of about 15 minutes until brew-ready. Steam is ready in just 40 seconds.
• PID Temperature Control:  The PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) controller allows the user to precisely adjust the boiler temperature and improves temperature stability.  
• Brew Pressure Gauge: The brew pressure gauge displays brew pressure during extraction allowing the user to get immediate feedback on how to adjust grind coarseness, dosage or tamp pressure for a perfect shot of espresso.
• Rotary Valves:  These are low-wear and easy to handle, thanks to spring-loaded technology.  
• Externally adjustable OPV: Brew at the pressure you want thanks to an externally adjustable over pressure valve (OPV).
• Beautiful Finish:  The body, water tray and feet are made of stainless steel with no sharp edges and built for a long lasting and easy to clean finish.
